“My experience working with Melanie has been fantastic! I’ve learned so much and continue to become excited by new muscle definition. Melanie is an amazing trainer – but she’s really so much more! I have worked with 2 other trainers in the past prior to working with Melanie. I did experience success with those trainers, but minimal compared to the results I’ve experienced with Melanie. I was most suprised that I was able to notice additional muscle definition in just 2 months, when I worked with other trainers for a year and didn’t achieve that amount of muscle definition. Also Melanie has been able to customize my training to include workouts that I am able to complete at my local gym or while traveling for business 26+ weeks a year. Since I began working with Melanie my body has become tighter and my muscle definition has increased! I have learned to listen to my body and to treat it with respect, giving appropriate breaks, etc. I have also begun to look at food as a source of fuel (though I still enjoy treats in moderation). “About a year ago, a horse-back riding accident left me with intense back pain. Nothing helped–not even physical therapy or therapeutic massage–until I met Melanie! After my doctor recommended that I strengthen my core in the hopes of improving my back, I sought out Melanie’s advice. And, I’m delighted to say that Melanie has been amazing in helping me to lessen my back pain and also to enjoy working out again. “I’ve always enjoyed working out because it makes me feel so much better emotionally and physically. The problem is that I’m a cardio queen by nature. I’m really good about getting cardio workouts in on a consistent basis, but I’ve never actually seen results.
It might sound silly, but I always just assumed my body type wasn’t meant to be lean or have any muscle tone. Finally I decided I didn’t have anything to lose by changing my cardio-centric workout routine and sought out something more.
Melanie designed a 12-week online workout program for me that consistently challenged my body by incorporating strength and bursts of HIIT cardio. I love the workouts and am pleasantly surprised at how well my body has reacted to the change.
