More than two years ago, when I met Stephanie for the first time, she was frustrated and quite frankly, fed up.
Stephanie had gone through a very busy period in her life, including several months living and working in China. She was finally back home, but found herself overweight, inactive and not looking or feeling her best.
After signing up for training, Steph admitted to me later that she drove home thinking “what did I just sign up for??” But she showed up the next week to her first session anyway and quickly found the accountability and support she was looking for.

With hard work and determination, Stephanie saw her body changing. Not only that, her confidence grew and she felt stronger physically and mentally.
That shift gave her the courage to start dating again, and she ended up meeting the love of her life. They are getting married in a few weeks and I could not be more thrilled to have watched Steph go through this journey.
She’s even recruited her mom to join her for training and the two enjoy spending mother-daughter time together while getting stronger and more fit.
Stephanie knows working out is about so much more than a pant size or a number on the scale. She excelled even more in her professional and personal life because of the confidence and strength she’s gained through training. She’s made some great friends in the process too!
When asked if Stephanie will keep training after her November wedding, she said “of course! I didn’t start working out for the wedding so I don’t plan to stop once it’s over.”
That’s music to my ears because I am just happy to be able to continue on this journey with her into the future.
